May 2016 Newsletter

We have to say a very sad goodbye to Amna as she will be taking on the team lead position in the Sr. Toddle room, as of May 2^nd. Amna has been a part of the toddler team for the past 6 years;

we would like to take this opportunity to thank her for all of her hard work and dedication.We will definitely miss her in our room, but we take comfort in knowing that the children will have a familiar face welcoming them as they graduate to the Sr. room. On a happier note, we would like to give a warm welcome to Davie. Most of you know her from the infant room, we look forward to having her in our room.

Birthday wishes go out to Reno on the 1^st, Chiara on the 21^st and Alastair on the 24^th. Their joint birthday party will be held on May 19^th.

We would also like to take this opportunity to wish all the moms a very Happy Mother`s Day, we hope you have a very peaceful and relaxing day!!!! It is St. Hilary’s 29^th anniversary on May 13^th; we will be celebrating with a hot and cold breakfast during morning drop off on May 10^th. The daycare will be closed on Monday, May 23th for Victoria Day. In advance have a safe and fun long weekend.

Another big event to mark on your calendar is our Spring FUNapalooza, which will take place on Saturday June 4^th. This event is open to all our friends and families as well as the community, the more the merrier!!! Lots of Fun activities will be available – Bouncy castle, BBQ and much, much more!! Please mark this down and we hope to see you all there. J

As you may already know, on sunny days we are applying sunscreen on the children before afternoon outdoor play, we ask that you apply their morning sunscreen before coming in.
