APRIL NEWSLETTER

Dear Parents,

As we anticipate the warm weather to come and when it does we ask that you provide the following items at your child’s cubby.

*spring coat* splash pants* rain boats* spring hat* and warm sweater*

Please keep their winter coat, snow pants, and mittens around especially for the cold mornings that I’m sure we’ll have, at least for a while yet.

We are looking into taking the Mississauga Transit to the Port Credit Library for story time. The children will also have the opportunity to choose a book to bring back to the day care. We will let you know the date and a volunteer sign-up sheet will be posted. To make this trip run smoothly we would like to have 3 to 4 adult volunteers.

To acknowledge Earth Day on Tuesday April 22^nd, we have planned to take this opportunity to clean-up the outside grounds of the day care. The children will learn a sense of ownership to their environment and that working together as a team is something to be proud of.

Our Lucky Draw this year was very successful. Thank you to all of you who sold tickets, with your help we raised $1800.00!! This money will help us provide a wonderful summer program for the children.

Just a reminder, the day care will be closed Friday April 18^th for Good Friday, and will reopen on Easter Monday. Happy Easter have a super long weekend.
