HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL OUR MOMS!
ENJOY YOUR SPECIAL DAY.
There are events coming up in the month of May that the toddler team would like to share with you. On Wednesday May 7th we will be making apple crumble bars for our monthly cooking activity. On Tuesday May 13th St Hilary’s Daycare is celebrating their 27th anniversary. During morning drop off we will be providing coffee and muffins to help celebrate our anniversary. On Thursday May 15th we have decided to get U Got Active Kids – an activity program that will encourage gross motor play with the children. The program will happen inside the gym at the daycare. This program will take place between 9:45-10am for our Toddler friends. Please ensure your child is here by that time to participate. The spring session of French has started for our 5 oldest toddlers. This runs from April 29th – June 24th. We are also pleased to have our Monkeynastix back for another session. This takes place every Thursday so please have your child here to participate by 10am.
The daycare will be closed on Monday May 19th for Victoria Day. In advance have a safe and fun long weekend. Amna will be absent from the daycare from Monday May 12 – Friday May 23rd. She will be back to work on her birthday Monday May 26th – Happy Birthday!!! Carmela will be absent on Tuesday May 27th. While we are away, Cheryl will be covering our shifts.
Another big event to mark on your calendar is our Spring FUNapalooza, which will take place on Saturday June 7th. This event is open to all our friends and families as well as the community, the more the merrier!!! Lots of Fun activities will be available – Pony Rides, bouncy castle, BBQ and much, much more!! Please mark this down and we hope to see you all there. J
We would also like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that there is no food or drinks to be brought into the day care. This policy is put in place to ensure the safety of all our children. Please make sure that your child`s hands and face are washed prior to entering the classroom if your child has been eating or drinking in the car. This will help ensure that all children are kept safe in case of allergies.
Thank you for your cooperation, we truly appreciate it,
The Toddler Team,
Amna RECE, Carmela RECE and Suela.
