NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER

As October drew to an end, the children had a lot of fun preparing for Halloween. They took part in various activities such as baking, carving the pumpkin and decorating their Halloween bags.

During the month of November we will be preparing for the children’s Christmas concert, to be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014. Remembrance Day is on Tuesday, November 11^th. However the Day Care will be open.

Two cooking activities planned this month are harvest soup with some fresh vegetables and herbs from our garden and hot chocolate with marshmallows.

We send Birthday wishes to Aidan, who will be turning 3 on November 13, the party will be held on the same day. We wish Rita a happy Birthday as well on the 25^th.

We congratulate Sharon on her 13^th anniversary at the Day care on November 26^th.

On a sad note we say good bye to Lexi and Melissa. Lexi’s last day will be Nov 7^th. And the following Friday Nov 14^th will be Melissa’s last day. We wish both girls all the best in their future endeavors. Diana will be working for Sharon on Friday’s as part of the job share position.

Lastly, just a reminder please DO NOT forget to bring in splash pants, mittens, hats, extra clothing and warm boots. Thank you for your cooperation.
